DESCRIPTION : Glowmania GMIXPS-1 is a UV curable, having low shrinkage properties, GLOW-In-The-Dark screen ink for application on thin papers, plastics and foils. This product has maximum pigment loading for brightest and longest afterglow. It cures rapidly to a smooth, matte light yellow-green tint appearance. The product must be printed over either a white or light colored surface to produce maximum brightness in a yellow-green glow. Also available in Ice Blue. Intensity will vary with the coat weight, with heavier lay downs producing brighter Luminous effects and with longer afterglow abilities. The coating has outstanding adhesion to most plastics and non-wax containing inks, as well as excellent flexibility and resistance to cracking and yellowing. Resistance to scuff and scratching is very good. Median particle size of the phosphorescent pigments is 30um, with the largest being 42um.

APPLICATION SUGGESTION : A screen mesh size of 70 - 80 mesh polyester and a UV resistant emulsion will provide best results.

A coat weight of 1.3-1.7 mil will provide the best results. Gloss and scuff usually improve, while flexibility and scratch resistance decrease as

coating thickness increases. Glowmania GMIXPS-1 is recommended for use on novelty items, bottles, decals, POP displays, signs, etc. Coating

application equipment includes flat screen and rotary screen-printing equipment. Compatibility of ink, coating and stock should be determined prior

to production runs in actual end use or accelerated storage conditions.

STORAGE AND HANDLING : The product requires stirring prior to use. The shelf life is good when stored away from heat and protected from UV light exposure. The material is combustible and should not be used near open flame. Store below 90^oF. Best when used within three months of product Lot No. date on label. Storage longer than six months is not recommended. We recommend the use of n-propyl acetate, MEK or denatured ethyl alcohol as clean-up solvents. Use with adequate ventilation. Chemical gloves and safety goggles must be worn when handling this product. Wash thoroughly after handling. This product contains acrylate monomer and proper handling procedures must be used. Consult MSDS prior to use.

DESCRIPTION: Glowmania GMIXPS-2 is a UV curable, Glow-in-the-Dark ink for flexo or screen application on plastic and paper stocks. This product cures to a slightly textured, semi-gloss coating with a clean appearance. The product has a very long and bright after glow but requires several minutes of light exposure to obtain maximum brightness. Adhesion to many plastics is excellent. Resistance to scuff, scratching, and Formula 409 cleaner is very good. The pigment has good light fastness with a very fine average particle size of 5-10 microns for high quality printing.

APPLICATION SUGGESTION : Glowmania GMIXPS-2 is recommended as a glow-in the-dark UV ink for use on plastic cards, film and paper stocks.

This product can be used on safety signage and novelty labels and promotional items. For most applications, a deposit in the .4-.6 mil range will

provide a suitable glow affect. Screen mesh will vary by manufacturer. For flat bed application though, a screen mesh in the 70-80 range should

give suitable results. For Rotary Screen, please contact either your screen supplier or Glowmania for assistance. A typical anilox in the 55-150Q

range will provide the best results when applied via flexo. Optimum afterglow is achieved on white or pastel background. Increasing ink deposit

will improve glow brightness. three hits are recommended for flexo applications. Printing over dark colors will diminish glow-in-the-dark brightness.
